Ten Good Reasons to Join the Peninsula Ski Club
1. People to ski with
Regardless of your skiing ability or terrain preferences, you'll find new friends to share your adventures on the slopes. From easy greens to blue cruisers, steeps and deeps, forested glades and bumps, we've got you covered.
2. Save money!
Thanks to group rates and our established relationships with resorts and tour operators, our trips are typically cheaper than you could arrange on your own with comparable amenities.
3. Expand your skiing horizons
4. Become a better skier
As a PSC member, you'll find more opportunities to practice on varied terrain in all types of conditions. You'll also pick up valuable tips from our more experienced members, and you can take advantage of package deals on lessons.
5. Relax!
Avoid the hassles of figuring out airline schedules, making lodging reservations, and arranging ground transportation. Our experienced trip captains take care of the logistics, guided by our comprehensive Trip Captain's Manual; you just put down your money and show up.
6. Have fun on and off the slopes
PSCers are a friendly, welcoming, and adventuresome bunch. Trips typically include one or more group dinners and other social activities, including the time-honored après-ski visits to pools, hot tubs, and bars, plus a variety of nightlife.
7. Not a skier or snowboarder? No problem!
We often have non-skiiing members who come along simply for a winter vacation at a good price. Most ski resorts feature alternative activities such as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, etc., and many of our destinations have options for shopping and sightseeing.
8. It doesn't even have to be winter
PSC offers non-skiing activities throughout the year, including hiking, golfing, bowling, cycling, group dinners, and outings to local cultural events.
9. Established, well-managed organization
PSC is a registered 501(c)(7) corporation, with policies, procedures, and an organizational structure that have been fine-tuned based on 50+ years of experience. Our trip captains, officers, committee chairs, and other volunteers work hard to ensure that our club operates smoothly and provides memorable experiences and great value to its members.
10. Free pizza!
The club provides pizza, soft drinks, and door prizes at our eight regular meetings per year. In December, we take things up several notches for our annual holiday party.
